Roots and Fruits Preschool's summer program engages children through cross-cultural games, creative arts and music, experiental learning. The camp is set up in four week themes: Peace within Ourselves, Peace with Others, Peace for Our Communities, and Peace for the Environment and Our Planet. Through storytelling, tending a garden, creating a personal keepsake of treasures, visiting the neighborhood bakery, building sand castles, or working together to solve a puzzle, children gain the skills they need to nurture friendships, explore their own gifts, practice kindness, value interconnectedness and create peace within our world.
